About North Dakota State University

North Dakota State University(NDSU) is currently ranked 97 among 415 public universities in the United States by the National Science Foundation’s Higher Education Research and Development Survey (HERD). The university is also one of the R1 research institutions in the country as defined by the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education.

In 2020 alone, the university spent $155 million in search funding on different projects. Located in Fargo, North Dakota, the now North Dakota State University was previously known as North Dakota State University of Agriculture and Applied Sciences after it was initially changed from Agricultural College founded in 1890 as the state’s land-grant university.

North Dakota State University Scholarships for International Students

As an international undergraduate student at NDSU, you are eligible for a scholarship whether you are a fresher or a transfer student. The criteria for this scholarship include;

  • You must meet all admission requirements at the university
  • You must have a 3.5 – 4.0 U.S. cGPA equivalent to be eligible for a $12,000 scholarship ($1,500/semester) or 3.0 – 3.49 U.S. cGPA equivalent for an $8,000 scholarship ($1,000/semester)
