List of Scholarships Available at the University of Bologna
The University of Bologna has over 30 scholarships and fee waiver programs for international students both for undergraduate and Masters programs. With over 100 scholarships for refugees from the Italian Ministry of the Interior – CRUI. Below are some of the available universities;
International Talents @Unibo: The International Talents scholarship offers 30 scholarships worth €6,500 gross, including full exemption from tuition fees, for deserving international students enrolling in second-cycle degree programs
Unibo Action 1 and 2: Tuition fee waivers of up to €20,000 for one academic year, and up to €11,059 for two academic years, respectively.
Collegio Superiore of the Alma Mater Studiorum: Scholarships covering meal costs, accommodation expenses, and tuition fees for international students
MAECI awarded by the Italian Government: Scholarships offering tuition fee waivers and monthly allowances of up to €900 for 6-9 months.Â

Eligibility Criteria for Scholarships
To be eligible for these scholarships, applicants are to meet the requirements below;
- Age: You must not be older than 30 years at the time of application for those applying for undergraduate scholarships
- Academic qualifications: Obtaining or in the process of obtaining a qualification belonging to a non-Italian education system.
- Language proficiency: English language proficiency, with some scholarships requiring Italian language proficiency
- GRE or SAT scores: You must have written and met the minimum score for any of these Italian-accepted aptitude test exams.
- Meet ISEE Indicator: You should have the ISEE (Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator) between €16,000 and €35,000 or an equivalent financial status.
